Notice to Hikers: Timber harvesting operations are currently in progress and affecting a portion of the trail through the Weaver Creek section of Eglin AFB. To avoid this activity, plan accordingly and hike SR 87 from the parking area to RR 213 to meet the trail again. All hikers are responsible for checking the Public Access Map (PAM) for daily closures before entering Eglin AFB.
