Temporary Closure and Reroute
Effective immediately and lasting approximately 10 days, the Seminole County will be doing some habitat restoration work at Chuluota Wilderness Area near FNST Map 22, sections 22-1 & 22-2 of the FNST.
Please see the attached maps for the closed section (red) and the alternate temporary reroute map: take the blue trail, follow the brown horse trail to Curryville.
It is very important that hikers stay on designated and marked trail throughout the Florida Trail and avoid closed areas and private property boundaries in order to maintain access and positive cooperative land owner agreements throughout the FT; your cooperation is greatly appreciated. We appreciate your understanding and support in this matter.
