Rough Trail Conditions West (North) of I-75
In the fallout of the 2023-2024 hurricane and tornadoes the Suwannee River section of the FT remains difficult to navigate due to fallen trees, overgrown sections, and missing blazes.
Volunteers and staff are working hard to keep the trail in safe navigable conditions, but the aftermath of the storms continues.
Please be careful, watch for fallen trees and dead snags. Always look up before camping as there are lots of broken tree limbs still suspended in the air.
