As of February 2025 the entire Suwannee River section of the Florida Trail is open! FTA volunteers and staff worked over 2,500 hours in the past 4 months to cut thousands of trees from the trail. Happy Hiking!

This reroute has been in effect for many years. Please check back as we will hopefully have repair done and original route back to normal some time in 2023. Cross Spring Creek Highway, a dead-end road to the small community of Spring Creek. No parking, just grassy shoulder to pull off. Beware of swampy spots.
