A planned reroute of the Florida National Scenic Trail (FNST) is scheduled for 11/14/2025 through 11/17/2025. The FNST will be relocated from Nobles Grade onto the Blue Trail and Jones Grade. The Blue Trail will be re-blazed orange to match the FNST blazing standard. The relocation starts 0.8 mile north of the I-75 Parking Area

Backcountry permits are no longer required in Big Cypress National Preserve. This change helps simplify access to one of the wildest sections of the FT.
